“Dog days…”

Just what I needed. Woke up to find that the dog puked and shat all over the house. I don’t even let the dog lick me because of its germs – my wife didn’t even stop the dog from licking our daughter as if his drinking toilet water wasn’t enough to get her to stop him! So – ok – it was a big fight and then she tells me there’s a $400 vet bill and that I’m overreacting! What did I do to deserve this morning?!

And I suppose if your daughter got sick and puked all over the house, you'd just get rid of her?

Sometimes accidents happen. I believe the best thing you can do is to remain patient and calm. In a time of stress, quick and harsh reactions may cause everything else to also break out into chaos.

Anyone receiving a huge bill in the mail would have the right to be ticked off.

Well no one agrees with me but I get phusically sick when I see commercials where people are letting dogs kiss them in the face - it is ludicrous. my ex wife used to say it doesn't matter a dog's mouth is cleaner than a humans - what is your source on that I asked her - she of course couldn't tell me - arrgh she had to say oh you asshole instead. well I don't know how clean anyones moth can be after eating poop, eating out of the garbage etc etc etc. I find it disgusting.

Can't stand it when people talk semantics on these blog things in the mail from a person does it really matter he got a ridiculous bill for something that was probably not necessary. Dogs existed before people started take care of them and would exist still if we didn't. The dog probably would have been fine you don't need to immediately over react to every hiccup. If a kid puked and had diarrhea you wouldn't immediately take him or her to the hospital you would treat it. People need to stop just thinking dogs are weak and need all of our protection. I think it is you who needs to back off dog lover. He has a right to be angry about the situation, but Max you probably should have handled it better then just yelling and freaking out. Talk to your wife and explain how she could better handle the situation next time.
