Opposites Attract??
I've always liked order, maybe a little too much. I have a hard time getting used to the idea of not having things done my way - the right way. I don't understand why my wife can't put things back where they belong. Is it really that hard? I never thought that this would cause so many problems in my life. I was organized and systematic when she met me. Why is it such a big deal now?

That's a self-centered way of looking at things. You have to change your world view - broaden it up a bit to incorporate those in your life, or lose them eventually. Instead of getting mad at your wife for not doing something they way you like it, do something they way she likes it...i bet you that eventually she'll notice this, maybe just subconsciously, but she'll remember it and sooner or later, she'll be doing some things your way too. Then you'll both be happier, because you live for/with the other and not just for yourselves.
Like my husband tells me, you're probably the only one that KNOWS the system.
Just wondering if you grew up in chaos? Sometimes we are attracted to what we know, even if it's not what we think we want - there's something familiar that sucks us in. You might think you want order, but you're subconscious is using its strongarm to pull you toward it's comfort zone.
I can see your point: we all prefer the familiar. But shouldn't my wife understand that I need to have certain things done a certain way?
